Network construction expands range of services

The network construction department at Josef Rädlinger Ingenieurbau GmbH has extended its range of services by two new fields. After the order situation for the department founded in 2013 showed highly positive development, the decision was made a few months ago to incorporate broadband extension and horizontal drilling technology into the portfolio. The company was able to win qualified and experienced employees for both areas and also strengthened itself in terms of machines, meaning that the first orders have already come in. At the beginning of May, the network construction Team welcomed new colleagues at the headquarters in Cham.

With the new services, the potential customer base of the company has been expanded, but existing customers can also now profit from the execution of additional network construction work from a single source. Whereas the laying of pipelines in horizontal or flush-drilling procedures previously had to be commissioned from external companies, Rädlinger can in future process orders concerning lengths up to 300 m and a pipeline diameter of DA 800 mm using their own Teams. With this technology, subterranean broadband cables, cable protection pipes, water and gas pipelines etc. can be laid under rivers, canals, railway lines or roads with little surface disruption. With two horizontal drilling systems even suitable for rock, the department is focusing on a comprehensive execution of projects and, in addition to underground engineering, also offers pipeline and cable laying work, the installation of copper and fibre optic lines and reliable construction coordination and documentation using GPS.
